I'm one of those fortunate individuals who is never bored. Thanks to my varired interests and tons of hobbies, I always have something fun to sit down to. I also picked up a subscription to tutorial website The Gnomon Workshop so I have hundreds of hours of amazing illustration, Zbrush, and Maya tutorials to enjoy. I love art, in general, and classical artists fascinate me, especially Bernini and Botticelli, among many, many others. Aside from design and art, I enjoy watching sports such as the UFC and the NHL. There's definitely something about events that require power, speed, and technique that I enjoy.
Gaming is another big interest. Shooters like Modern Warfare and Gears of War are my favorite and I also enjoy a good action/adventure such as Metal Gear 4. Other great games include Mass Effect 2 and Forza 3. In addition to games, I find movie watching to be incredibly satisfying and relaxing. Favorites include Heat, Platoon, and Any Given Sunday.
I like to stay active with my leisure time, and I enjoy similar types of people. To keep inspired, I remind myself that I only get 24 hours a day to put myself closer to achieving my goals.
Random favorites and interests include: Muse, U2, Coldplay, Radiohead, my Mac Pro, the glory of 1080p, Summer Olympics, Imagine FX magazine, traveling, playoff hockey, and hot weather.
I attended the University of Maine, Orono, 09/93 - 05/97, and graduated with a B.A. in Studio Art, while earning two scholarships along the way.
Designer involved with creating front—end pages for USAA's Auto Loan division, Mortgage division, and for the last two years, Property and Claims division. Daily tasks involve extensive use of CSS, XHTML, and JavaScript to create pages that uphold site standards and conventions.

This was a freelance position where team members choose to submit their work, given the client guidelines, and the winning work is chosen by the client and is subsequently paid for services rendered. Also performed routine site de—bugging, such as searching for errors in the HTML markup and updating time-sensitive material, such as contests and promotions.
As the lone designer, developed all the visual needs for each web page through extensive use of Photoshop to create the client web identity. Designed icons, headers and photo manipulations to match each existing branding and print materials.
